Lol, she probably just hit her growth spurt early and was bigger than everyone else. I remember one girl in elementary school basically being a giant (just in height) and noticeably taller than anyone else in our grade. But then we went to different middle schools. I was surprised to see her height was average and I was taller than her when I saw her again in high school.

Well, that is a good general rule of thumb indeed, but the theme I was referring to was that they apparently have the characters do flip-flops in physical appearance between younger and older and vice versa.....For instance Chiaki cute when small, and evil looking when older, Fujimi looked like a thug when young and is strikingly attractive when older.
